Abolishing Health Mandates

As a result of the lockdown trauma experienced during covid shutdowns, the Idaho legislature has been working on several bills to prevent some of these things from happening again in Idaho.

Bill H 32 Prohibition Mask Mandates takes aim at masking requirements. This is summary of the legislation:

The purpose of this legislation is to prevent the State of Idaho, it's political subdivisions, or any state officers
from mandating the use of face masks, face shields, or other face coverings as a means to prevent or slow the
spread of a contagious or infectious disease.

It has passed both the House and the Senate and awaits the Governor's signature. Update: signed into law!

Bill H 131 Vaccine Disclosure for Blood Donations allows for patients to see if the blood they are receiving comes from a donor who had the covid mRNA vaccine. This is a summary of the legislation:

This bill mandates the disclosure of mRNA vaccination status prior to blood donation. This information is
crucial as it allows recipients to be informed about the potential origin of the blood, particularly in relation to
whether the donor has received an mRNA-based vaccine. The blood donation recipient can request blood based
on this information. Importantly, this requirement does not necessitate separate storage of donated blood, but
rather calls for the donor’s declaration at the time of donation and the blood to be conspicuously marked.

This bill has passed the House and is headed to the Senate.

Bill S 1031 Health Boards, Powers & Duties puts limits into place regarding how a health boards can operate.

This legislation updates Section 39-414, Idaho Code, to ensure district health boards focus only on necessary
and reasonable health laws and regulations. It removes their broad authority to take sweeping actions for public
health, including preventative measures. This change keeps their duties clear and limits overreach, ensuring
resources are used responsibly and decisions stay with a well-defined scope.

House Concurrent Resolution HCR 5 Anthony Fauci State Crimes is a statement from the Idaho legislature asserting that it does not recognize President Biden's federal pardon of Dr. Fauci. The following is a summary:

from prosecution for potential state-level crimes he has committed. The resolution states that the State of Idaho
does not recognize the pardon, and it rights as a State in pursuing legal & criminal actions against Dr. Anthony
